About the Founder
In 2022, Magid Yousif founded Rowad Energy Consulting, Inc.. His engineering expertise spans over 12 years and includes hundreds of engineering projects. An expert in electrical engineering and electric transmission lines, natural gas, and hazardous liquid pipeline regulations, Magid worked on 100+ energy projects in the private sector and state government. Magid is a qualified inspector of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). Before founding Rowad Energy, Magid worked at the Iowa Utilities Commission (IUC) as an Engineer and Safety and Engineering (S&E) Section Manager. The S&E Section at the IUC is responsible for pipeline and electric safety and evaluating pipeline permits and electric transmission line franchises. At the IUC, Magid advised the Commissioners and testified on 20+ docket hearings regarding Iowa’s electric transmission lines, natural gas pipelines, and hazardous liquid pipeline projects. In addition, Magid represented the state of Iowa at the National Association of Pipeline Safety Representatives (NAPSR) from 2019 until 2022.
